On Tuesday, Game Score Belt Defender Jose Ureña took on Oakland’s Jharel Cotton.
Ureña pitched awfully well, who, in six innings, only allowed three hits and one run, while striking out four and walking one. That earned him a nice Game Score of 69. Cotton, on the other hand, didn’t have Ureña’s fortune. In five innings, he allowed eight hits, and five runs, while striking out five and walking one, for a Game Score of 30.
The Marlins won 8–1, improving Ureña to 5–2 on the year with a 3.70 ERA.
Ureña’s next start comes against the Washington Nationals.
