A couple days ago, I, Brian Schlosser, sat down with John Principe and Peter Khayat to discuss the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO). The KBO is the first major professional sports league to begin or resume its season in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, and many baseball fans in the United States stayed up late to watch the games to get satisfy their craving for baseball. Further adding to the KBO hype is the fact that ESPN will be broadcasting multiple games per week (albeit at an inopportune start time because of the time differences). We discussed the various teams in the league and drew comparisons to major league teams, and talked about some slight rule changes that the KBO has that sets it apart from the MLB.
We’ve linked the podcast in a few different forms in this article, and we hope you give it a listen!
