The aggregate Top 100 MLB Prospects

Elite minor league talent is a hot commodity, no matter the franchise. Whether it be small-market teams like Baltimore and Pittsburgh, who stacked their systems with high-end talent through rebuilds, or the seemingly infinitely wealthy Dodgers, teams understand the importance of accumulating and developing prospects. And with Spring Training now nearing completion, many of the sport’s best young talents have made their case to take their game to the next level in 2023.

The MLB offseason is the time when most publications take the time and effort to reconfigure their prospect rankings, but with so many renowned voices in the industry, it can be hard to gauge what the consensus opinion is regarding certain prospects. Below is the list of the top 100 prospects made by combining the lists of seven major outlets – Baseball America, Baseball Prospectus, MLB Pipeline, FanGraphs, The Athletic (assembled by Keith Law), ESPN (assembled by Kiley McDaniel), and Prospects Live.

Note: Some players were considered prospect-eligible by playing time but not by service time (Gabriel Moreno, Shane Baz). Additionally, not all publications consider international free agents (Kodai Senga, Masataka Yoshida) as prospects despite being rookie-eligible. Because of this, those four players were not considered for inclusion across all outlets and thus are not included in this exercise.
