Ureña Barely Edges Out Lugo, Keeps MLB Game Score Belt… Again

He did it again! One of the worst pitchers in baseball (by Barrel FIP) has managed to keep the MLB Game Score Belt for another start.

Thursday, he faced the New York Mets and Seth Lugo. Ureña went six innings, allowing six hits and three earned runs, while striking out four and walking none. Lugo, in six innings, allowed six hits, two earned runs, a home run to Giancarlo Stanton, while striking out four and walking one.

Somehow, Ureña held on. His Game Score of 53 topped Lugo’s 51.

Ureña’s next start comes against the St. Louis Cardinals.
